Rising workplace safety and hygiene criteria in industry have led to a new standard in filling FIBCs, drums or containers. Bulk solids entering the container through a filling tube could, for example, trickle out of the tube when the container is exchanged and come into contact with the environment or fall onto the floor. Commonly used shut off valves to prevent products from trickling out into the environment cannot solve this problem satisfactorily.
The patented ProCleanŽ trickle protection system created by HECHT relegates such worries to the past.
What distinguishes the Hecht-ProCleanŽ trickle protection system from previous shut off valves is its external cleanliness. Whereas previous shut off valves come into contact with the product flow, the Hecht-ProCleanŽ trickle protection system is specially constructed so that it avoids touching the product at the lower side of the valve. If the Hecht-ProCleanŽ trickle protection unit is closed, it completely seals off the product area from the environment. This significantly reduces emission values.
