Total Containment with Isolator Technologie OEB 5

At a workplace limit of <200 ng/m3 a unique level of containment is achieved. No other technology using flexible containers can currently surpass this level of containment.

To obtain top containment using big bags, the big bag must be fitted with two inliners at the inlet supports and outlet supports, respectively. The inner inliner is filled with the product and is connected inside the isolator. The outer inliner acts as double protection and needs to be connected on the outside of the isolator. Both inliners are protected by the outer material of the big bag during transport.

The required containment level can only be achieved during connection to the product transfer unit with the aid of an isolator operated at continuous negative pressure (-50 to -70 Pascal) and 20x air renewal.
